Partner visas will certainly take a longer time to be processed if all the required forms have been filled out incorrectly or have not been submitted and if all the required documents have not been provided to Immigration. Partner visa application must be fully complete and extensively supported through evidence and supporting documents. Time can be saved by attaching all forms and documents when you have lodged your partner visa application.

Delays will be cause if Immigration request for more information, forms or documents. It is very important to respond to these requests quickly and within the timeframe provided. If not, a refusal may be made. But do not assume Immigration will always inform you that your partner visa application needs more. It is recommended to ensure all the forms and documents have been attached at the time of application.

If your application is severally lacking in supporting documents, Immigration may decide to refuse your partner visa application. This can happen due to missing information or you not supplying them with enough evidence.

How your application was put together will affect Immigration decision. If your application was presented poorly and is very low on evidence, the results will reflect badly on you. If your application was presented comprehensively with the correct documents, tons of information and is bursting with evidence, a successful result will follow.
